I am a fourth-year Ph.D. student in Industrial and Systems Engineering at Texas A&M University, advised by Dr. Lewis Ntaimo. My research focuses on stochastic programming and decision-making under uncertainty, particularly integrated chance constraints (ICC) and distributionally robust integrated chance constraints (DRICC), with applications in disaster risk management and vaccine allocation.
Before Texas A&M, I earned my M.S. in Information Management from National Taiwan University, where I worked with Dr. I-Lin Wang and Dr. Chia-Yen Lee on crowdshipping, assigning parcels to crowdsourced drivers through a network of decentralized smart lockers. I received my B.S. in Industrial and Information Management from National Cheng Kung University.
Outside of research, I enjoy jogging, hiking, reading, making miniatures, and playing the ukulele. I have completed four 10K races and hiked in several national parks, and I have read both the Harry Potter series and The Lord of the Rings.
I will present my second research, Distributionally Robust Optimization (DRO) for ICC with application to vaccine allocation for Influenza at Inform 2026 Annual Meeting.
I passed my preliminary exam with my research proposal, Distributionally Robust Integrated Chance Constraints With Application to Risk Management for Influenza and Earthquakes!
I presented my first research, Decomposition methods for integrated chance constraint (ICC) with application to vaccine allocation for Influenza at Inform 2025 Annual Meeting.
My paper โโAn integrated optimization approach for crowdshipping leveraging smart lockers as decentralized urban transshipment hubsโโ is published on Computers & Industrial Engineering.
I received Wm Michael Barnes โ64 Doctoral Fellowship at Texas A&M University!
